MIT Business in Gaming Conference

Goodwin Procter is a sponsor of the MIT Sloan Business in Gaming Conference (MIT BiG), which will feature a full day of panel discussions and keynotes and speakers. MIT Clean Energy Prize Mentorship Program

The MIT's Clean Energy Prize (CEP) is a nationwide, $200,000 student venture creation competition that aims to catalyze a new generation of clean energy leaders with solutions to meet the world’s energy challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship.  Bill Schnoor will serve as a Judge, Bob Bishop, Jonathan Shapira and Jennifer Fang will serve as mentors.

Raise the Rim! | Boston Startup BBall Tourney

Location: Cambridge Athletic Club, 215 1st Street, Cambridge, MA

Calling all VC and startup ballers in Boston!  Join Goodwin Procter on March 23rd at the Cambridge Athletic Club for a 3 on 3 basketball tournament benefiting the TUGG foundation. Whether you are an experienced player, or are just looking for an excuse to get your team out of the office and on the court, come to play hoops for double elimination madness and 90s hip-hop beats! Drinks after the championship game at Tommy Doyle's in Kendall Sq.  One team captain from a local VC or startup per ticket. Team captains are responsible for players and are allowed to go outside their organization to pick up others in the Boston StartUp Scene.

- Games are straight up to 15 or 20:00 min (which ever occurs first)

- Double elimination

- Refs provided by the CAC

- Random bracketing

- High socks, headbands and short-shorts are encouraged!
